YMA Studios was born from a simple observation: North-Central Nigeria's creators, churches, and businesses were travelling to Lagos or Abuja for production services that should be available locally. Founded in Jos, Plateau State, we set out to build a production hub that rivals anything in Nigeria's larger cities.
Today, YMA Studios operates a fully-equipped recording studio, a growing equipment inventory, and a team of experienced production professionals.

Post-Production Suite
Dedicated editing rooms with calibrated monitors, professional workstations running DaVinci Resolve Studio and Pro Tools.
Youngman Yakubu
Founder & Studio DirectorYoungman founded YMA Studios with a vision to bring world-class production infrastructure to North-Central Nigeria. With over a decade of experience in media production, he oversees strategy, partnerships, and studio operations.
Blessing Adeyemi
Head of ProductionBlessing manages day-to-day production operations, crew scheduling, and client relationships. She brings 8 years of broadcast television experience to every project.
Samuel Dung
Lead CinematographerSamuel is a DOP with credits spanning music videos, documentaries, and corporate productions. He leads our camera department and mentors junior operators.
Hauwa Ibrahim
Post-Production LeadHauwa runs our editing and colour grading suite. She specialises in narrative storytelling and has delivered post-production on over 200 projects.
